Interesting that appearance and being are almost diametrically opposed through their very essence.
Obvious empirical data include the perceptual limitation of the senses.
For example, we conceive of the color black as the absence of light/color yet the physical properties are the opposite.
The light spectrum is understood physically as containing all colors yet we perceive wight as singular and pure.
The exact opposite of the perceptual logic that leads one to survive the daily stresses of the physical plane appears
closer to the absolute truth/pragmatic logic of the eventual reality we find ourselves within. I'm reminded of Plato.

It should be noted that while the rider of the white horse is often interpreted as the Antichrist, he is not named such in Revelation. (Honkychrist / Capitalism)
The word used to describe the color of the 'pale' horse is the Greek word chloros or green. It is meant to convey the sickly green tinge of the deathly ill or recently dead. Since the literal translation 'green' does not carry these connotations in English the word is rendered 'pale' in most English translations.

The separation issue of the illusion of individuality from the One makes the human race (homo rapiens) de facto viruses which cannot be sustained for the good of the whole. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Yet we are exclusively concerned with empirical fragmentation of the planet in a sustained effort to shape our existential arena and define ourselves. As petulant children are wont to do, we self-piteously isolate ourselves from the whole and perpetuate the illusion of perceptual individuality whilst the planet which we widely regard as our maternal generator is jealously manipulated by human vanity and greed. Even patient mothers have a limit: we tenaciously and perniciously / self-loathingly lunge towards this precipice from which material wealth will not avail. It's as if we've given up as a species and resigned ourselves to accept the random and virulent mutation of complacency(sic).

Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
1. And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
